My name is Phalane Radinku, and I am a social worker specialising in helping individuals struggling with alcohol and drug addiction. As a member of the in-house therapeutic task team at FHR, my role is crucial. I believe that every person is a unique individual, and I treat them with respect, dignity, and confidentiality — these are the core values of my work. By accommodating and accepting individuals within our families and society, we make their lives easier and foster a sense of belonging. My role involves providing therapeutic and psychosocial support through one-to-one counselling sessions with each client. It fills me with pride to assist them in their recovery journey, enabling them to heal and recover through this process.
