We treat both substance abuse and gambling addiction, as well as behavioural issues such as gaming, sex addiction, shopping addiction, love addiction, co-dependency, and workaholism. We also treat co-existing conditions such as anxiety, depression, bipolar, burnout and personality disorders.

We offer both primary (4 weeks), secondary and tertiary treatment (various extended care options) – in order to facilitate long term recovery.

It is very difficult to address issues whilst still being in the eye of the storm. In order for the client to get perspective as well as to grasp the principles of the program efficiently, inpatient treatment is optimal.

In today’s age, technology allows us to continue a therapeutic process from anywhere in the world. This allows the clients to go further away to treatment initially and then continue aftercare closer to home. Visitation can be facilitated digitally and this isn’t always a bad thing: often families and other loved ones need the break and an opportunity to recharge their own resources.

There will be face-to-face as well as online extended care options available.

Yes – visitation is permissible in-person or digitally on a Saturday.

We also facilitate a weekly family support program.

A professional member of staff (either social worker or registered counsellor) facilitates all assessments and intakes, as well as team handovers in order to provide holistic treatment options for the client.

The client will be assessed within 72 hours by our GP who will medicate (if necessary) the detox regime. The process will be monitored medically by 24-hour nursing staff. Any patients deemed unstable will be transferred to a hospital either via our staff or family. The family is kept abreast of developments by the treating practitioner.

You or your loved one will see a doctor on admission (within 24 hours) for an initial in-depth assessment and then have one follow-up within a week to make sure the detox process is being managed correctly. The nursing staff will be available 24 hours a day. The client will attend group therapy/ workshops at least twice a day and see their focal counsellor weekly.

Feedback will be given to family members weekly in order to keep them involved in the process and supportive of extended care. A consulting psychiatrist will be utilised if necessary.

The family may make contact with the client weekly, on a Sunday, during visiting hours.

If there is a specific area of concern or a special request, family members may contact our offices at any time to check-in.

We are bound by ethical confidentiality boundaries. We only break policy if there is risk of suicide, homicide or child abuse.
